Helping horses (& owners) live healthier by using natural products in their homes and barns.

Healthy living is a very broad term. Along with total wellness, it encompasses physical wellness, mental wellness and financial wellness. Let's look at each of these issues one at a time.

1. Physical wellness ~ Obviously this would mean our physical well being. Our physical being has an inside and an outside. We should get plenty of rest, eat properly, take vitamins, and get plenty of exercise. Hopefully, by maintaining a lifestyle like this we can keep our inner and outer physical well being very healthy. There are physical factors that we can control, and others which we can not. If we live in a heavily polluted area, we could become ill. If moving is not an option, there are ways which you could help yourself. Some folks have chronic or sporadic conditions such as, coughing, sneezing, headaches, muscle aches or cramps. Many find out, usually later, not sooner, that these symptoms were being caused by environmental factors. *Most* mainstream physicians tend to treat the symptoms, sometimes never uncovering the cause.

2. Mental wellness ~ This is harder for a lot of people. Our mental state has a direct correlation to our physical state. We should spend quiet moments every day, reflecting, or praying (& riding!) Also, it is very helpful to write down goals. You can do this daily, weekly, short or long term, but writing has proven to be of benefit.
Stress plays a key role in our mental health. Many people look for crutches to help them feel better when under stress, smoking, eating, drinking. In the long run, these things will not help your mental health, and they begin to deteriorate your physical health.

3. Financial Wellness ~ It is easy to think that by having an unlimited supply of cash that we would automatically be happy, all our troubles would melt away. In reality, it takes all components of wellness to be truly happy. Being financially well does not mean that you must have more money, or even a million dollars. It does mean that you know how to mange what money you do have. Are you paying lots of late fees every month, bank charges, ATM charges? Are you using your credit card and paying the minimum balance due? If your answer is YES, then hopefully after reading this you can take a few moments to review your situation. Credit card debt is consuming Americans. We are buying more and more, with less and less, and paying dearly. It can take years to pay off a few thousand dollars of credit card debt, all the while paying those horrible interest rates.
My Office is My Stable can help you add to your monthly income. Wouldn't it be great knowing that you could count on that added income to pay off that credit card debt?

RETURNING TO NATURE

For thousands of years humans being used plants to help keep themselves healthy
and to heal from wounds and disease. Only in the last century did pharmaceutical
drugs take over in industrialized countries as the primary approach to treat disease. In some cases, drugs are certainly appropriate, but not in all cases. As we rediscover nature's medicine chest through modern research, a whole new world of therapies is opening up to us -- natural therapies -- that are often as
effective as pharmaceutical drugs, but without the side effects. Many of the medicinal plants contain properties to heal that no synthetic drug has been able to
mimic. So if you have a mild health condition, do a little research. There just might be a natural remedy that may save you a trip to the doctor, the cost of a
prescription, and the possibility of a significant side effect.
