My horse had been suffering from rain rot. My farrier and I were discussing these products and tea tree oil. He asked if I had a solution or a product that would work on the rot. I exclaimed, “Of course I do!” He asked me to use it as often as I thought about it. He is due back here in 3 weeks. At that time he’s going to let me know how he feels my product worked on the rot. My uneducated eye already sees a difference in his feet. Needless to say, I am eagerly awaiting the visit. My farrier told me that if it worked, not only will Shadow gain a week or 2 between shoeing visits, but he’ll become a customer, and tell everyone he knows! |

9/27/04 Well, my farrier came out last week. He said Shadow’s feet look better than they have in FOURTEEN (yes, 14!) years! How amazing is THAT??!! Additionally, since they were in better shape, he was able to reuse the pads, saving me an additional $40.00! WOOHOO! |

In Virginia we get very wet and muddy conditions. In the winter especially, it is challenging to keep the horses feet dry. The snow melts, freezes, and melts again, keeping paddocks constantly wet. Thrush LOVES to thrive in these conditions! With daily cleaning, along with regular use of tea tree oil several times a week, thrush can be controlled, eliminated and kept away! |
